unfortunately, e cat can't recognise you by your handphone no. =P whoever it is, 10-Q =) & for those who don't know yet, e cat uses an image-illiterate 4-going-on-5 y/o Sony Ericsson T600, so e cat will receive a URL + userid + password to retrieve e image from e web. & like most of e foreign workers & domestic maids here, e cat uses a prepaid SIM card, so it has zero free minutes of miao-time.

[031106] 21st ECF meeting dinner at Jewelbox on 'Mount' Faber:



honestly think it looks fugly. maybe a poor reindeer kena electrocuted on e roof of e 'porch' & rotted away, & then they strung Christmas lights over e skeleton?

what turned out to be e ladies....!



complete with >2m long aquarium, upside-down pitcher plant-like lampshades, egg-shaped toilet bowls & sofa....far nicer than e function room e dinner was held in....

fun evening with lab mates & current lao2 ban3 & honours lao2 ban3. e latter two finally got to sit down together to talk =) honours lao2 ban3 regaled us with his tales of stepping into NZ fresh from elementary school in Sarawak & greeting his new headmaster as 'Mr Mac-Lii-oh-d' (McLeod) =P

& then e evening took an ugly turn with totally indiscrete behaviour from e partner of Mdm2 & a keratin, right in front of all present including e actins & keratins from e flanking labs....embarrassed silence all round. biggest keratin kept totally calm throughout, which made partner of Mdm2 look even worse. some like filopodium simply stormed out. hope Mr & Mrs Mouse won't end up like this couple.

Pig-pig's conclusion is that the way to attract prominent fat balding ang moh male scientists to e little red dot is to promise them an endless supply of young petite 'oriental ladies' for company....guess we were too naive & believed them when they said they relocate here because of e year-round summers & proximity to Bali, Sipadan, Tioman, Manado, Cebu & Krabi ;)

[041106] faithful hardy 4-y/o Olympus mju300 sent for long overdue repair. broken plate under sliding lens cover + tiny bit of xD card slot cover broken off, yet still functional & weatherproof for more than a year after e damage =)
