Hmong New Year 2008

Update from a White Hmong (Hmoob Dawb) consultant:

Hmong New Year is on 27th of November to 11th of Desember 2008, In every year if it's nearly to New year the important people in the each village have got a meeting, they ask each other about their havesting that has finished or not. if all most has finish they can chose that what date should be Hmong New Year.

These dates are for the villages in the northern fringe of Luang Prabang, not sure if it's the same in other parts of Laos.
