[270905] on e biopolis bus, a big fat aedes mozzie with abdomen red & swollen with fresh blood meal. if humans all had such transparent stomachs & didn't cover them with clothes, Singaporeans who love checking out what other fellow diners are eating can indulge in navel-gazing of a different sort as they elbow their way through a food court.
on e biopolis bus too, a big pong that almost KO-ed e cat. looked up & saw e offending source of e stench - e exposed (& extremely hirsute) armpit of a (nationality that smokes & spits in e corridors & stairwells of e cat's undergrad department) guy wearing a polo T with sleeves that were far too short. didn't dare breathe nor look up again. e cat has never had such a bad reaction before, even with mercaptoethanol or TEMED (N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine). e lady sitting beside me turned quite pale & green.
at Holland Road market, a one-legged mynah hopping around like any other normal mynah. it has managed to figure out a way to adjust its balance, take-off & landing =)

[031005] cutting across MOE HQ, e cat ran into its primary school best friend, now a PE teacher (paid to wear shorts & T-shirt to work!)....in a year's time we'd have known each other for 20 years =)

[051005] for $2.50 you can get a plastic 'Falchion knight' 'san1 huan2 dao' (3-ringed broadsword) from one of e HDB shops near Holland Road market & hawker centre. e packaging shows a blonde-haired guy, so maybe this is e ang moh version of e wushu 'jiu3 huan2 dao1' (9-ringed broadsword)....what more e rings of this 'san1 huan2 dao1' are coloured - metallic blue, gold & metallic PINK =P
maybe e baby should bleach e 红缨 (red tassel) on her spear to make it a hello kitty PINK one? ;)
a few shops away, for $4.50 you can get a set of maid stuff - plastic katana, throwing knives & shuang1 jie2 gun4
Holland Road/Village area seems to specialise in selling toys for e family ;)
