last meal of 2005 =)

[311205] extremely satifying Teochew dinner of coffee ribs + tauhu + fried noodles + sliced fish with vege + big fat steamed pomfret + 'cereal' prawns + or ni dinner for 8 mostly Teochew girls + 2 Teochew guys, who cleaned 10 bowls, 10 spoons & 1 big fat serving plate of any last remaining traces of or ni....e best or ni that e cat has ever eaten - e smell & texture of lousier ones can make e cat puke.

for those who are interested in Teochew catfood, e place is Chin Lee Restaurant @ Blk 115 Bedok North Road (somewhere opposite e Blk 85 hawker centre of bak chor mee fame).

after dinner, e guys were dismissed & e girls headed to someone's apartment to what else but yakyakyakyakyakyakyak & joke & laugh (including e classic Beijing hotel one about '....我们要放书包在这里....出去走走....等一下回来....你还会记得我吗?') e night away. all except one have been in e same secondary school, & known at least one of e others for 13 years (in one case, 19 years).

without e TV on, & in a totally silent condominium, midnight almost slipped by without us even realising it =P ended some time past 2am as one had to work later that morning (& e next day as well....such is MO life - 2 days of rest in that month)....but we will definitely meet again for more good food & conversation & e July wedding! =))

[020106] Pig-pig & her Cat-cat went shopping on 2 consecutive days (quite a record esp for Cat-cat)....'directed' shopping, to be precise, with lists & targets & budgets in mind + buying at least 2 of e same thing in at least 2 different colours if something with e perfect fit + price + discount (if any) was found, to cut down on future hunting (wasted) time. Parkway Parade on day 1, & Borders + Ngee Ann City + Bugis Junction + Bugis Village + Queen Street market + OG Albert complex on day 2. first time that Cat-cat walked so much in a day ever since it discovered how heavy cars can be. & Pig-pig discovered that Cat-cat is very useful as her voice-operated drink & tissue box holder in e car & parking assistant =P
