silent mode

to those who call themselves friends but have no f**king balls to speak up for fear of stepping on toes:

Martin Luther King Jr said, 'in the end, we remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.'

to those who wonder why e cat has drifted away:

in Zen, they ask, 'what is e sound of one hand clapping?'....there is no sound? & if there is any, it is not e sound of clapping, for it takes two hands to clap?

limited energy....when efforts to maintain friendships seem too unilateral (taken for granted?), e cat switches to silent mode & walks away. if you think e cat hasn't miao-ed in a long time, it's cos it no longer has any idea what to say to you.
