straycat cannot vote liao....?

from Working with e Cat Welfare Society:

One of the town council officers just wrote to ask if we could remove all the cats at the polling station on election day between 8 am and 8 pm to prevent any cat related issues. What exactly do they expect us to do? Move them somewhere else in the meantime? Also do they really think people are going to see the cats and change their mind and vote for the other party? If I was voting, I would be more upset that someone removed the cats just so I could vote in a cat-free environment.

then Elections Department send me polling card fur what? voting is compulsory but voter not allowed into polling station....?

perhaps should be honoured that some pea-brained humans think so highly of e power of cats to swing e vote....power to e people, & power to e cats! *GRIN*

[040506] if GRCs are for e purpose of minority representation, GRC teams should include at least one of each of e following: a non-Chinese (minority race), a non-Buddhist (minority religion), & a non-heterosexual (minority gender identity)....& not forgetting e need to increase gender diversity in e predominantly-male parliament, a non-male (female or transgender also can) ;)

[050506] all those big fat promises to spend big fat millions on estate & lift upgrading etc etc....while promising e sheep wool, don't forget that 羊毛出在羊身上 (lit. wool comes from e sheep's body) ;)
